Anything paid is labelled as paid, in the piece, where the reader sees it before they read it. Affiliate links are disclosed. We will not run sponsored content dressed as reporting, and we will not take a placement that affects what appears in a status band or a closure notice. Those are the pages people plan trips from.

We do not sell links, we do not accept guest posts written to carry one, and we will not remove or soften a critical line in exchange for anything. If your product had a recall, we will report the recall.

Sending gear does not buy coverage and does not buy a favourable verdict. If we write about something you sent, we say you sent it.
